“No coffee…no workee…”
I’m going to relive one of my favorite moments this year. September kicks off the most notable month for all fashionistas known as New York Fashion Week. This is when fashion designers unveil their Spring/Summer collection for the following year.
I visited the Tatte bakery Beacon Hill location yesterday with my sisters to catch up on some blogging work. And let’s not kid myself – I also wanted to stuff my face with some delicious avocado tartine and pastries. The spot was a tad too busy to get any work done but I didn’t mind my lack of productivity with the smell of fresh lemon muffins wafting through the air…heh heh.
I love the coastal quaint town of Newburyport. It’s north of Boston, scenic and charming with many idyllic shops and restaurants. One of its newest restaurants, The Poynt, just opened in September and I was lucky enough to experience their first weekend brunch and let me just say – it was amazing! I’ll let the pictures do the talking and you can do the drooling now…
I flew to New York over the weekend and had the pleasure of meeting the uber talented and legendary hairstylist – Lea Journo. She hails from the beauty mecca of the world, Paris, France and her posh salon is currently based in fabulous Beverly Hills, California. From Brad Pitt to Ellen, she has styled the tresses of every star under the sun.
I was fortunate enough to experience my first Simply Stylist New York event with their fabulous team and Physicians Formula over the weekend. Simply Stylist events are part party and part blogging/styling/social media school. It was such an inspirational event with top influencers and showcased amazing industry elites that offered major girl power motivation.
It’s hard to turn down an invitation to one of my favorite cities in the world – New York! I was booked for a few events and parties during the Beautycon expo weekend. To ensure I would not be late due to waiting around for Uber surge prices to drop at the airport – I decided to use Blacklane.
